From the pics, looks like lower production cost because the denim is somehow simulated–almost like texture-mapped for an avatar.

The design is pixelated, like camouflage jeans that help you blend into a crowd of people wearing farmer jeans, but you’re still remotely jacked into the Matrix, flickering in and out of reality, like half a scramble suit intentionally caught in an infinite loop for artistic reasons. When you slip them on you feel a little like Tron escaped from a 3D modeler’s laptop, barely Gouraud-shaded before loom bots had a chance to stitch you together in high resolution.

So maybe this is progress if you live in a city.

I agree with the other comment–if you’re going to “simulate” jeans, why not take the texture-mapping concept further?
